Amelia read Law with Psychology at Anglia Polytechnic University in Cambridge, graduating in 2001. She then went onto study the Legal Practice Course at Anglia Polytechnic University in Chelmsford and graduated in 2002.
Since completing the LPC, Amelia worked for a local property management company in the legal department before joining Jefferies in September 2004 as a trainee and qualifying in September 2006.
During Amelia’s time at Jefferies she has worked as an Assistant Solicitor in the property department specialising in commercial and residential sale and purchases, residential and commercial leases, charity law, business acquisitions and disposals and also collective enfranchisement and lease extensions.
Amelia was made an associate with the firm in 2012. In 2013, Amelia acted for a client buying a residential property for over £7,000,000.00. Amelia acts for several local charities advising them in all respects of property matters and she also acts for an international trust company.
In her own time, Amelia is a mother to two small children which takes up most of her time.
