Brooke studied Law with American Law at the University of East Anglia, spending her third year abroad studying at the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. She completed her Legal Practice Course with Distinction at the University of Law, Bloomsbury, London. Brooke joined the firm as a Trainee in July 2014 and qualified into our Family Department in July 2016.
Since qualifying, Brooke takes on a wide range of work within the Family Department. She currently specialises in both private law children matters and disputes between parents as well as all areas of divorce and finance including disputes between cohabitees.
Brooke is also the point of contact for a number of local domestic violence charities and offers advice and representation in relation to injunction proceedings for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
Brooke really enjoys taking on a case and seeing it through to it’s conclusion and takes on a lot of her own advocacy.
Brooke is the joint Chairperson of the South Essex Junior Lawyers Division which provides support and networking opportunities for junior lawyers in the area. The group has strong links with the local judiciary and a number of firms in the area and Brooke is actively involved in organising and running events throughout the year.
Brooke is a member of the Cambridge University Officers Training Corps, a non-deployable branch of the Army Reserve. She is also a keen motorcyclist and lifelong member of the East Essex Motorcycle Club attending weekend rallies and events both around the UK and in the Netherlands.
