Shaun Young

Background

Shaun completed his Undergraduate studies at the University of Reading, obtaining an Upper Second Class with Honours classification in his LLB Law Degree. Shaun then undertook the LPC with a Masters Degree in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law, obtaining a high Merit mark in each of these. He joined the firm on a part time basis, whilst completing his LPC and Masters Degree, in January 2017.

In work

Shaun originally worked as a Paralegal within the Family Department, and commenced his Training Contract here at Jefferies in August 2017. In September 2017, Shaun joined the firm's Conveyancing Department. He now deals with a variety of matters, both in terms of commercial property, and wider corporate matters. Shaun particularly enjoys private company sales and purchases, and commercial contracts.

Outside work

Shaun is an avid sports fan. He plays football and Tennis regularly for local teams, and endeavours to watch his favourite team, Barnet, .

It is this love of sport which has seen Shaun start and continue to run his own blog on legal and commercial issues in the sporting world. This interest saw Shaun obtain a place on the Sports Law Academy scheme run by international law firm, Mishcon de Reya.

Shaun also enjoys keeping up with current affairs, and travelling as much as he is able to. He greatly enjoys experiencing other cultures.
